Charmaine is a home-grown Vancouverite who grew up in the Kerrisdale area. She spent 25 years in the hotel and tourism industry before joining Locate. Known for her composure under pressure, Charmaine’s years in the hospitality industry honed her commitment to providing rarified and exceptional service.
Having spent some of her career in Asia, Charmaine has an excellent understanding and first-hand knowledge of Asian cultural and business etiquette. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Charmaine is also an avid volunteer who has been on the committees of many local charities and organizations. Mother to two active boys, Charmaine always has her finger on the pulse of all of Vancouver’s latest sporting matches, events and festivities.
A native of South Africa, Natalie moved to Vancouver 25 years ago with her husband. She’s very familiar with all the challenges associated with immigrating to a new city and a new country.
Trained as an educator with a major in psychology, Natalie’s entrepreneurial spirit lead her to work in Human Resources, Catering, Medical Cosmetics before launching Locate. Her experiences as an expat drove her passion to help others acclimatize and settle in as quickly and successfully as possible.
Natalie is also mother to three wonderful children and an avid volunteer. When it comes to the city she now calls home, she’s known for sourcing out and exploring the very latest and best that Vancouver has to offer. From homes to ‘hoods, bakeries to bistros, Natalie is committed to helping you feel right at home.
